It is usually the most unplanned trips that is most rewarding too. So from the initial clique gathering of 7-8 people, it almost ended up with only me and Charis again. Luckily, cos my car, Ben came to join us. Yes, it is my first time driving out a-l-o-n-e! Slowly gaining my parents' trust to take the car out alone, drive to some nearer places, but I'm grateful enough already, as I am not that confident of myself too. After picking Charis and Ben (and also sending them home to their door step), we were still too early for dinner, so we roamed around the pretty neighborhood.

This neighborhood is special, not just cause of its rich heritage, but also because it is an area that is so near, so close and a place that we should be so familiar to. We all practically grew up here, or rather spent our teenage hood in this neighborhood since our school is so near. However, we all really did not know this place well enough, and its only after we have left that this place began to began its popularity as a hot cafe/restaurant spot. Why can't they revamp the area just a few years earlier?! But come to think of it, even if it began earlier, we, as poor secondary school students probably would not have the time, money and mood to appreciate and patronized these nice eating places.

Well, there are still many places around this area waiting for us to discover (we have missed some places and only saw them when we were driving back), so definitely going back there again. Especially now that its a parents-approved-driving-destination.

and, with the black and yellow shirt and my gigantic circular shades, who say one can't rock Bumblebee style. One good thing of dying my hair back to black is that I can wear a lot of warmer colors that previously doesn't look good with brown/golden colors. However, I also tend not to wear anymore black outfits, to prevent looking like a portable charcoal block.
