As an official unemployed, I tend to make full use of this rare opportunity to get as much rest as possible. So I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon by the beach with Bae but not fully blessed by the weather as it showers every half an hour or so. With some good time management, I did manage to capture some pretty satisfying shots, as I realised that I am also slowly transiting into taking, not only portraits, but also interiors and just the surrounding in general. Slowly, but surely, getting the real meaning of capturing the moment. Not just the moment of a person, but a moment around, anywhere and everywhere.

After our third glass of cocktails, few rounds of gossips and a short nap on the sun bed, our peacefulness was disrupted by our neighbours. Two girls was snapping photos away in their socially-accepted-standard of perfect bikini and bikini body, just like us, without the latter though. However, they then spend the next half an hour editing their photos and had such a hard time choosing the final photos to post on Instagram. After a good who-know-how-long-have-passed, as their photos went live online, their conversation progressed to "I only got 15 likes so far, how." while their already cold truffle fries at the side were stolen by the passing birds. Yes freaking birds, and they are ignorant about it.

I kinda feel guilty to a certain extend. Imagine the time taken by every single girl in the world who worried about their social media status or their perfectly imperfect bodies was spent in thinking of real issues such as global warming or poverty or cancer, we may probably come up with a cure or two already, perhaps.

A new 2016 resolution sparked at that moment is to, "start realising thing" just like Kylie K, focus on things that really matter. Although worrying about my consistently increasing body weight is still consider a real health matter, but I guess I shall channel that effort of worrying it to more crucial matters or channel that effort into real actions at least.

Ok, peace out, I might just return to my sofa, continue to eat my chips and bear grudges on VS models.
