The other day someone asked me "Are you happy?"

It took me awhile to find the right words to reply. We are swarm with different feelings throughout the day, sometimes you know you are happy or sad, but do you really know if you are happy or sad? Like do you ever sit back and reflect how and why you are feeling a certain way?

I think my 5 seconds lost of words is primarily due to 1) When is the last time you hear a question as such and 2) I haven't really think through my feelings like this before.

Jump back to 2 weeks ago, when we are roaming around Florence after we depart from Venice. It feels like a different country, the 2 cities are so different. We immediately fall in love with Florence's vibe, its so young, artsy, hippy... (we saw the most amazing sunset with pink sky too!)

I was happy then because of the surrounding environment. Its just a breath of fresh air, hardly felt in any other places before, in a long time. Also we had the most amazing ice cream in our whole life. Recommended by our local Airbnb host, it was a small and delicate shop hidden at a crossroad of a back alley. The taste - is pure happiness.

Have you seen to adult women fighting over an ice cream cone? (She finished hers and was fighting for mine haha!) That is happiness.

If I would ever return to Italy for the fifth time, yes fifth, I would definitely not mind visiting Florence (& the ice cream shop) again.
