Has this happened to you before?

You're really happy in the moment doing the things you like with the people you like. But somewhere in the back of your mind, you're a little sad knowing that this moment may just be once in a life time. This exact moment of happiness probably cannot be relived because people, things, time will change. You either go back and really live the moment because it is so precious, or you can hold back a little of that happiness cos knowing the more happy you're now, the more sad it will be when the moment is gone.

So this is what I am going through recently. At those moments, I was really living it. It was so fun, so happy, so carefree. But I also know that it was short-lived, it will be gone and I will be sad that it is gone. Now I am living the sad phrase just as I predicted because I know those happy moments are gone and will never be the same again. There will be other happy moments too, but those exact ones will probably never happen again. The cycle will continue.

Am I thinking too much? I probably am.

I think this also sums up the end of the year/beginning of a new year - this exact feeling of moving on from all the fun/happiness/parties and resetting once again.

Anyway, here's to the first post of 2018!
